Maybe too late, but the Evo uses non standard sizes, i've got 16cm in with an MDF spacer i think. Front and rear are the same sizes.

Will U.S. 6.5 inch speakers fit? Thinking of getting some pioneers in that size.

I think that 6.25 are about as big as you'll get in flush, you can probably mount 6.5 with a spacer depending on the how the magnet support is built.
