HKS racing suction kit

I have heard good things about this and also bad things. I know it would improve the air flow but what about filteration. I currently have an apexi induction kit but would like a hard pipe. I know of one person who sold his because when he inspected the inside of the pipe there was alot of dirt in side that the HKS filter had let through. Anyone any thoughts about this kit?

I have one fitted to my VII , and to be honest I think the filtration isnt too bad. I was worried when I read what people thought, but mine seems fine & any bits that do get through usually get caught in the gauze which houses the MAF.

I take mine off one a month just to clean it, but thats probably a little OTT

I'm running a HKS Racing suction kit on my VII. We have never found any problems with it, but have also heard good and bad reports about it.

We run it on both our cars with no problems

did contemplate doing that but not sure how much room there would be. Ideally Apexi cone filter with the hard pipe.
See the pic below to show how much room there isnt.

Anyone know a good place to get one from??
