Coolant!

Was checking the fluid levels on me car ready for 2moz and have noticed my coolant overflow is emply? Had the car serviced 3 weeks ago and the coolant replaced and the overflow was the right 2cm above min with the engine cool.

Drove it 2 weeks ago fairly briskly and have left it since then with the battery disconnected.

Bin thinking its the old Head Gaskett but if that much coolant has been lost i though it might be visable in the old ie. mayonnaise effect? But nothing oil seems good as gold.

Any advice really appreciated.

When giving the car some stick its not unusual for some of the coolant fluid to leak out..

Is your coolant completely empty?

Better to be safe than sorry mate.. Move the car out of your garage and look for signs of coolant on the floor.. Usually a bright green colour

Put a bottles worth of water in her.. Start the car and then keep adding until its full.. Should be fine then.. Evo's tend to sit just under half on the water temp gauge.. If it starts to rise then there is a problem..

Usually a sticking thermostate but could be a head gasket problem..

Hope she ok.. Lovely looking car.. The best colour too 8)
