Paddle clutch??

My mate has just brought an Evo 4 and it had a paddle clutch fitted about 6 months ago.

Now he is having serious problems with judder/shaking when changing down gears and pulling away.

Any suggestions guys??

I've used normal clutches, sintered, paddle, sprung, unsprung, the lot!
I can say in all honesty that paddles don't tend to last too long and are a pig to drive on the road. Juddering is normal.
I've just got a 7.25" twin plate AP jobby to have a go with - hopefully it won't be too much of a "foot full" on the road..

I've got a paddle clutch and a lightened flywheel on my 1 rs and its sweet as a nut. No judder at all. I do about 25 miles a day and its fine.

I'll ask my mate if he's interested in the flywheel.......
