Octane boosters and ayc oil change...????

Sorry guys...Another question...I used the search facility to no avail....
Octane boosters....Has anyone found a comparison link,For these additions..Outlining whats good and not so good....When i had the scoob,I always used Millers,And the dogs dangly bits was always Nitros formular...But their are others on the market ...Any links please....?????
Also,Changing of the ayc oil...Is this just a straight forward drain & re-fill service....????
Someone also mentioned that the EVO diffs have to be tightend (Torqued up) on a regular basis...Is this correct please....Kev.

You need something called a MUTII to do the full job on the AYC fluid change..

Costs about £38 inc VAT if you go to the right Mitsubishi dealer

Some of em try and charge 4 times that

I have never used octane booster on my car mate.. Just run 98Ron Shell SUL and its fine 8)

I've tried millers and an unbranded booster, i notice a definate improvement in my VII, i wouldn't say it's much more powerful, but ithe engine seems happier and smoother.

I'd definately say it's worth adding if you're pushing the car.

I use Millers in my VII, I also used it for 4 years in my old Jap WRX. If you can run a scoob on it without it going bang, it can't be that bad...

I run my VII on Optimax for general use and shove Millers in on trackdays or when using the nitrous, I find it ok too
