boost pressure

I'm driving an Evo 7 with AFAIK a titanium turbo, uprated fuel pump and a few other bits and bobs (exhaust, HKS RSK,boost controller, etc)

what do you think is the max, safe, boost I can run ?

I've got it set at around 19psi (gauge reads in psi)

can it go higher with standard internals or is that about my safe limit

Phil

19psi is roughly 1.3 bar..

I wouldn't run more than this just to be on the safe side Phil

On VIII's I've run 1.7-1.8 bar with headstuds, comp head gasket and ARP rodbolts, all other internals stock, only have issues when run a lot of anti-lag.

I probably wouldn't recommend this for a day to day driver, but it does show that the internals are pretty reliable.
