I've had a look around and it looks to me like it won't fit. I can't find any referance to a decat pipe for 1-3s though so i could be wrong.

I think you'll need someone who knows the earlier models better than i do i'm afraid.

FFS don't get a GTO, they're a fecking barge. Put it this way, in 'The Knowledge' in Evo magazine, Evos tend to get 5 stars, the GTO gets 2. 'Nuff said. If you want a 'hairy chest' type motor, you'd be better off with a Supra or even a 300zx IMO.

Mate unable to view what the prodcut as Ebay is blocked at work

Anyways - I have had decats fitted to my 3 and 2, and noticed that the cat for the Evo 3 has 2 studs and nuts whereas the Evo 2 cat has 3 studs and nuts (or vice versa - can't remember) - personally I'd go and get one made up specifically for yours, just to be sure.

Cheers

Benny, sorry for the slight change in topic, but i sold my GTO to get my EVO and it was the best move i ever made.
On the motorway the GTO was amazing, but as a B road car it was poor to say the least. Far too heavy and wallowy. If your after a touring car then fair enough, but dont expect a GTO to put a smile on your face whenever you get in. Not gonna happen.
However if you are lookin for a change then I would recommend an Rx7 very highly. I had one before my GTO, and if you can live with engine rebuilds every 50k then they are unbeatable. They are the most fun car I have ever driven.

Anyway, sorry to go on, just my two penneth.

Chris.
