Help! re AVC-r

Was having an AVC-r fitted tomorrow but a couple of things has meant that its got to wait. Need to know if it is really necessary for it to be fitted at all. Previous owner fitted a valve that was causing boost spike. This has been turned down or removed? not sure which but the car is supposed to be running normal boost now.

Second question is anybody know where i can get a full set of either donor struts for my 4 or permanent ones cheap so I can get my Teins refurbed?

Ebay is normally good for struts mate, and the struts from a 5 or a 6 will fit aswell.

Although the part numbers are different, I never did figure out why.

If your back on standard boost then you dont need the boost controller as long as you have got rid of the dawes or what ever which wasnt set correctly by the sounds of it.
