In terms of induction you are better off getting a decent indiction kit (pipe and filter). All well known brands are much of a muchness and i doubt you are going to see any performance difference between them. If your not running huge power, save your dosh and just put in a good panel filter (HKS, K&N).
As for dump valve, if you are still using a MAF and a dump valve that vents to atmos then you are always going to have the slump on idle issue. You could try getting a harder spring for your current dump valve which should improve it a little.
If you want improved performance youre better off spending money on an exhaust, de-cat, boost controller, fuel pump.
