Hi everyone, my mates got a Evo V which is in the bodyshop at the moment being resprayed but the body shop just phoned and they cant get the spoiler off the boot lid, they think its bonded?

Anyone know any tricks to get it off?

There is a knack in taking these off - obviously you need to start off by taking all the bolts off from the underside. Then start from one side and on the front end and use some cutting wire to cut through the double adhesive (which is concentrated on each end). Lastly there are some 'poppers' too which require some force to release. All in all a 1/2hour job.
