For the smokers

Do you smoke inside your car? I used to long ago, til someone told me the ciggy smoke can end up affecting (yes, even the new ones) the roof liner. It will end up making it fall down. Having leather seats in my main car was also an issue, it made it filthy on the inside and I had to wipe them down constantly. I don't smoke in either of our cars anymore, as its just a bad idea to start with, who wants to be in a tiny area with ciggy smoke all around, its like the little smoke box rooms they have at airports. Thoughts on this?

I do smoke in the car that for me is one of the worst ones to break. I always smoke on my way to and from work. I did not know that about the roof liner very interesting indeed. I wonder why?

Re: For the smokers

Well, thats happening in all cars. The smell becomes putrid, and the car is essentially deteriorated the same way your lungs are. so selling it can be issues while you are a smoker, it ages the car faster, as you age. Quite ironic actually

That's good to know! though I don't smoke myself. I think it can be a good warning as for my smoking buddies. Thanks for the idea, I'd spread that one out.

I have never had that problem but then again I do not smoke. After reading this, I thought back about the cars and the people I knew that had the problem with the liner falling and sure enough they were all smokers. I guess that is a way to tell if a care has been smoked in.

I've never smoked in my car, when I was a smoker. I smoked for about a decade, but I would only smoke before getting into the car.

And I never smoked in the house either. I just didn't like smoking anywhere that the smell will cling, like furniture.
