How Fast Have You Gone?

I know how fast the various evo models are supposed to go. But how fast have you personally pushed one? Was it on a track somewhere, or a long stretch of open highway/motorway/autobahn?

I still haven't driven an evo yet, but in my mini-van, I got up to 85 mph. I am not sure how fast that is in kmh.

On the motorway on my way home tonight I was travelling a joyous 70mph! That's the fastest I have ever gone in an evo! I'd love to find somewhere that I could really see how it drives, a track somewhere, but I don't know of anything.

I have driven one in the states here going down a long straight, pushed it stock about 90mph, same car my friend was a "new driver" and managed about 65, then again, I had been driving 6 years longer than him too, might be why.

I heard the German Autobahn has no speed limit. I am not sure if your able to drive your car from Britian to the mainland, but if you ever go on vacation, I would suggest trying it there, of course while wearing your seatbelt, and numerous other safety gear.

I live in Georgia and we don't have strict control by police and in city I take 180 Km/h nearly everyday

on a bike it was 176 with my wife on the back.

had my standard evo 4 doing 145mph racing a mates mental evo 8 dats got 405 bhp@the wheels!!! this is one crazy car!!! safe to say he sh*t all over me and my 2 front inner wheel arch splash guards were pushed in by the wind preassure and got rubbed away by my 17s :shock: well worth the buzz tho considering its the fastest im ever likely to take it! well maybe :twisted: lol
