Which Oil

What oil would you recommend for the cold months?

I use Motul 15w50 - should I use something different in Winter?

Cheers

I think its generally recommended to use something thinner in the winter... Silkolene PRO-S 5w-40 will be going in mine at the next change...

My car has Mobil 1 0w/40 in it at the moment and the ticking noise is the worst it has been on some evenings (never that bad in the mornings..?)

I change mine every 4000 kms which is about 2500 miles...

Going to get some Silkolene from Opie Oils as am struggling to get it round these parts.... ooarrrr

Hi guys,

Yep Skip I have and use Silkolene Pro S 10w-50, and I have some great deals on it at the moment.

I'll update my section on the traders forum on here later tonight then you can see what deals I've got on offer.
