Arm Recalls?????

ive heard lots about some rear arm recall on 4,5,6's. what actually goes wrong withh them, on vw's the bush seizes, is this the case?
also is there anywhere i can check if needs doing to mine, i rang my local dealer and they said my cars an import so not covered :s

Our IV was done under recall december 2005. Ring Colt Car Company 01285 655 777 with your chassis number mate, i found that the best way as the dealer also told us it didnt need doing.

They replace the Rear upper suspension arms due to a possible crack occuring in the press fit portion of the bush. It takes approx 3 hours but some people have needed to leave the car for a whole day due to problems with the filler neck if i remember correctly.

It is free of charge which is a bonus

to get this done is the only time that Ihave been to Mitsubishi with my car..... and after having if for 5 hours they decided that they had the wrong part.

tell your local dealer too go and take his face for a sh1t as he aint got a clue wot he is on about

the recall was for ALL MITSUBISHI (thats import and ralliart versions) LANCER EVOLUTION 4/5 + 6's

as has bin said give ccc a call, give them your details and they will give you all the info you need on the FACTORY RECALL

mine is an import but i had a recall just the same but it did take them all morning so they gave me a car for the day.
