drivers side window

my drivers side window doesnt go up or down on my evo2.

is it the motor?

Possible mate.. my motor started to go my window would go down but would'nt go
up..

Silly question do all other windows work apart from the drivers side.

on mine the drivers switch went. no noise i.e motor trying to work.
had to replace the switch jobs a good one.
take off the door car and have a look at the motor.

while your in there check the wire that makes the window go up and down we have had three go on ours.it looks like a brake cable on a bike and they fray and snap :shock:

On my old evo 1 i had the drivers side motor die and the passengers side switch fail all at the same time :shock: didnt know weather i was coming or going
Check the things people have said and you will find your problem

OK WILL DO, WHERE FOR PARTS FOR THESE? CABLES/MOTORS ETC?

try dave at ears m8 or athers is has some parts for sale as well.but you are not restricted to early evo regs as we have regs from a IV in ours,The bottom holes and the motor holes line up you just need to make holes for the top mountings dead easy.changed ours in about half an hour.but if they are from a later one you will have to swap the wires round in the plug going to the motor they just push in,otherwise it will go the wrong way ie up is down.if you need any help or more info give us a shout.

got mine from a scrap proton persona cost 50 quid for the four motors, cables and runners are attatched
