fse fuel regulator..

I'm looking for some information on an fse fuel regulator i might
be fitting one on my evo 1 to try and cure the small fueling problem..

What are the pro's and cons between an fse and sard regulator..

I did post on the other side to no reply as such there's a surprise...

Cheers
Daz.. :-)

Not 100% sure to be honest Daz. The only thing i can say is that all the top cars that have a fuel reg are mostly using sard and also seems the one to get so i suppose i just follow trend. I do know people with the fse but on an rs turbo and astra gsi. Cant see why they would be crap though.

I ran a malpassi one on my e1 which is same as fse as far as i can tell without problems if you do a search on mlr for malpassi you will find several people dont like them on evo though. I think the 1:1 rising rate is the one to buy tbh cant rember kind regards George

Thanks mate...

I did a search on the mlr and it seems a few people run fse with no problems and some that have tried
them have not liked the rising rate as it can lean the car too much at top end..

rising rate works the other way round..........................

std reg, and most uprated 1-1 regs work simply by adding fuel pressure according to boost - for example if you run 3bar rail pressure at idle, at full boost of 1bar you will have 4bar of fuel rail pressure.................

on a rising rate (1.7-1) using the same 3bar at idle car, you would get 4.7bar of fuel pressure which can be very confusing/difficult particuarly if your car is 'mapped'...........
