Knock Knock, Whats that noise!!!

Im trying to find out wot could be causing a knocking noise on my 7. seems to be loudest when turning to the right, i was told by a garage it was just the suspension sending the noise through the chassis but im not convinced. wondering if its a common evo trait or just mine being awkward

thanks for any help
rey: :respekt:

Struts are common for this mate after 40k or so

Not heard of it on a 7 tbh though, but the 6's are prone to it :???:

Its a very common problem with the good old Evos

Could be a number of things tbh, but as Waggy said the struts are the most common we've had a couple of E7's in with strut problems, might be best to get it into somewhere and have it checked out

Where are you based?

Easy fit tbh but instead of going out buying a strut, try changing the top mounts first

It was so easy i actually enjoyed getting my hands ever so slightly dirty!

I paid £150 for a full set of TME struts which had covered about 8,000 miles

I remember the knocking noise on Fuglys evo 7, that only seemed to do it on left or right turning. Ended up with new struts and top mounts.
