RPM DIP! HELP

i bought a HKS SSQV bov and install it and didn't like it cause of the idle, so i took off my HKS BOV(i know.. it suck i shoudn't bought that thing) but i had it on for 1 day than took it off and i install my stock one on. after that when i boost and than go for a stop, my rpm would drop all the way to about 500 rpm than it bounce back up and stay idle at 900 rpm, it seems like it would only do it when i get off boost, but it does it sometime when i am not in boost. i went back and retighten everything that i loosen during the installation of the HKS. can anyone help me? thanks in adv. and i also have K&N filter in my car if that matters.

it's best not to get VTA BOV, cause the car will get less air in and than the ecu will set itself saying that the car is not getting any air, get aftermarket BOV that u can recirculate air back in to the car. i did VTA one day and now this is happening. tried to reset my ECU by unplugging my battery and it still don't work.

well i just tried it,disconnected bov from air cleaner, took it for a test and when coming to a stop the revs drop to about 500 and car shuts down.then i put it back together and car is running normal.i guess each evo is different in their own way cause i know people with aftermarket bov and they are running perfect.

well iv had HKS SSQ on both me evos and never had a problem with them at all

i do believe (read it sumwhere) that if you are having idling problems after fitting a vta bov that you can cure it by unplugging the connector from maf sensor whilst the ignition is on let the cart sit for a couple of minutes then re attatch the maf sensor connector block (not too sure if the engine has too be running on this 1 ok :???: :???: )

you may want too try it if you are having idling issues

maf sensor is in the maf housing which is the black box that fits your air filter pipe onto and on the other side it connects too the turbo inlet pipe

Some cars like bovs and some dont. All cars are different. First thing i would do is disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes and then re-connect. This should do the trick it will reset everything.
