Opening bonnets

Does anyone use or know of a kit so your bonnet opens using gas struts the same as a boot.

ive been experimenting, using gas bonnet struts from a vauxhall ( :woohoo: ) omega.....although in therory it would work i cant figure out the mounting points to get it to actually work as it seems bonet lifters of the sort we used to fit to mondeos from jaguar XJ40's for far cheaper money from 'car styling houses' and the like dont do ones for Evo's. Not mine anyway. Im presuming its down to the fact theres no where to mount them. The bonnet will shut with them in place on a IV though.
