Sump/Diff evo 2!!!

Could anyone tell me how you remove the sump from an evo 2 while the lump is still in the car.

There is what im assuming is the front diff in the way, do you remove the long bolts then slide the box to the right hand side into the recese then lower it?

Any help and pics on this would be very appriciated.

Thanks guys

(PS got a small marble bouncing around sound in there and i need to see what colour it is lol )

thats the transfer box you looking at m8 and yes you can just undo the long bolts and slide it off but support it first as they are heavy as anyone who has had one fall on there arm (like me) will tell you.
im betting its a black marble

you will also have to undo the two bolts holding the driveshaft carrier up,so that you can get to the sump bolts underneath, and the scatter plate at the back of the transfer box

Yeah, got the sump off and its all looking a bit scary in there... melted bearings no marbles though lol

Was woundering if i replace the bearings and the crank (crank to be safe) do you think it would prob be ok?

I have been told its been starved of oil and that a replacment engine is on the cards

I would like to just replace the bottom end (new crank + bearings) has anyone had any experience of this kind of problem?

Any more help would be great, thanks guys.

P.S. does anyone know where to get a cheap evo 1,2,3 engine (just in case)
