So, from what I've noticed on every aftermarket site that is around, they sell these. Are they that benefitual? Or just a waste of 40 bucks?

From reading up on them, I can only talk about the reviews I have seen, and none have been bad. Seems they give a better control in drag racing and shifting - is that what you mainly use your car for?
