THUD! When changing Gears at High RPM!!
I've noticed when I am racing, I change gear about 6,000 - 6,500 RPM and it feels like a THUD. Like the next kicks in, instead of just going in. Of coarse I am taking my foot off the gas and using the clutch but I can do it quite quickly.
Standard gearbox and clutch I amagine, its just wierd coz I have raced a lot of cars and Ive only heard and felt this when I launch them. Any Ideas why? is it good? bad? |

how about stop smashing it into gear and dumping the clutch before either, the clutch and flywheel are knackered, the gearbox turns itself inside out, or the rear diff explodes.
If you are into 'racing' then buy racing equipment. If not try to be a little smoother, hey it might even make you quicker aswell as let the car last longer. |

Some owners can get a thud through the drivetrain if running with a VTA. I have this when changing up at high rpm with the HKS SQV I have fitted.
