AYC Diff Leak

Hi all - discovered at a recent AYC oil change that it's leaking (the AYC diff) - they didn't not down where from so has been asking a few questions:

When an AYC Diff leaks, is there a common place for leaks to appear?

Can you get replacement gaskets, or can I service my current AYC Diff and repair the leak? (is it possible)

Whats the going price for a 2nd and AYC Diff?

And to fit the AYC Diff, do I need to get it into Mitsi to get it fitted as they will need to do the AYC Fluid fill etc.

Cheers in advance

Is it the Rear diff or the AYC pump?

Steve, it was picked up by Mitsi when they did the flush - they just said that my AYC diff is leaking, and to keep an eye on it as the Fluid was low - I would've hoped they would have noticed if the plug was leaking :???:

T - they just mentioned the AYC Diff hun - assume if the AYC is just a seperate pump to the normal diff, then it's the AYC pump they're talking about.

I'm still a bit new to all this AYC Business ops:

Best do your own inspection then mate, check the lines between the pump and diff and the sump plugs.

I would think if there was a prominent leak they'd have spotted it but then again dealer, probably not

Did you sort your squeel Beej?? :???:

Thanks T - gives me an idea.

I'll take a gander - must admit, there's no puddles or pools of fluid, so cant be a serious leak - I did notice the rear diff looked damp underneath when fitted my flaps, just looked dark n oily rather than a red fluid:???:

Squeel ? Yes mate - it was my wheel bearing, it's been tightened and it's shut up.....but for how long?
