clutch pedal just collapsed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi guyz, just about 10mins ago, i was driving down normally, going from 3rd to 4th and the clutch pedal totally collapsed. then when i tried puttin it in gear again it wouldnt happen. the clutch pedal is right against the floor now. any1 know what the problem is ? cheers guyz

sounds like you may have lost your fluid

pipe burst or master cylinder seals just a guess mate

It wont be the clutch cable cos evos dont have them :muhaha:

Another thing to check is the bulk head. Its common for this to flex and crack between two holes and no longer alowing you to select gears.

i didnt check that, but i hav to pull the pedal up with my hand, and soon as i tap it, it falls all the way back down again.

Hello mate, this happened on an old car of mine, sounded like i'd crushed a cd case with the sound it made. Clutch cable had broken away. Fingers crossed anyway, this would be the cheapest problem i imagine.

if you pump the pedal does it build up pressure?
