Rebulid Parts...

Hi All,

Stripped the engine today, and as suspected the pistons were all badly cracked, but there is no damage to the bores or the shell bearings, which is lucky.

So I am going to start a shopping list of things I will need

Pistons ( already have some E8 ones with rods )
Rings
Shell bearings
Gasket set
ARP head bolts

Is there anything else I will need :muhaha: and where would be the best place to get them from?

Cheers

Nigel

Well good luck Nigel. I was looking at dropping some new pistons on mine at 50k but having looked at it it just wasn't viable. you must have stronger bores than mine

Good Luck 8)

Bores on mine are fine, they look like new.

Mine do too Nigel! But far from straight, they fit the existing pistons nicely though so what the hell!

I plan to borrow a bore micrometer from a mate of mine to check before I go any further. Will be interesting to see how round they are
