Not all Evos made the same...Fuel Pump (install) & ECU

I have reached the conclusion that not all Evo models are made the same i.e I have an Evo 4 and repeated remarks on this forum that the fuel cut on the E4 is at 1.3 bar. Not so on mine got it up to 1.45 by trial and error setting the new boost controller but no fuel cut. (Air/Fuel was showing rich - 11.8 at 1.45 bar too !)

Also have been told that I have to cut the solid steel pipes to the top of the pump plate to replace it. Had a look yesterday - the pre-install inspection - and there are only two connectors, the fuel pump electrical plug and the sender line which has a rubber attachment not a solid steel line. (BTW - Where is the return line?)

Am I just lucky or have others experienced the same?

Re- Boost cut, TBH every E4 I've never driven an E4 that cuts @1.2/3.

Re- Fuel pump, sounds like you're looking under the wrong panel, look under the drivers side one.
