Boost Controller Install - NO NC COM

Im installing a Greddy Profec B Spec II in to my Evo IV. I dont have an external wastegate so Im using the NO and COM connectors on the solenoid. What needs to happen to the NC connection? Do I need to block it off or just leave it open to atmospheric pressure.

I read the Apexi AVC-R online manual which say the NC should be open to atmosphereic pressure.

Thoughts please
