Lash adjusters

Has anyone had any experiance with changing these??

Is it a fairly simple job, or not worth doing.

Hang on there bud, I'll find my link for ya. It has a step by step account with pics, and sounds piece of peepee to do (I've got to do mine too, and I'm no expert !!! )

i think i have the only evo that doesnt tap like mad. Mines proper quiet!

Found it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a pdf file that bjorn sent to me via e-mail. Will really help you out. Tools you need is a crowbar and magnetic probe. PM me your e-mail address and I'll forward it over to ya bud

p.s - like me, you just have to keep reminding yourself - its noisy, but not detrimental

nigel try mobil 1 racing 15w50 oil. my old head used to tap on the odd ocassion, when i started using that it seemed to cure it.

good point Paul, I got some silkolene pro from Tina @ RSE, who told me it would quieten them down, which it did A HELL OF A LOT !!!!!! Well worth the £30 for a rapid drop in decibels !

we use pro s as well not a peep out of them except for a few secs on startup on a cold day :-)
