Timing belt

Can anyone advise me when to have the timing belt changed on an evo6 it is coming up on 40k when I spoke to my Hypertech my local jap tuning specialist he said that it was no due until 70k, but I dont really fancy waiting that long. How reliable are the timing belts on these cars are they prone to snapping? cause if it snaps i'll probably have a nervous breakdown!!!
Thanks again in advance for all your views

If you are already at 40k I would get it done hun

Its not so much the belt but the tensioner that lets the evo's down tbh, just make sure you get it done by a reputable company

It should be done BEFORE 45k miles or 60 months/5 years. Whatever is sooner!!!
