Air Intake sizes (Help)

Does anyone know what the air intake sizes are of all the different models of the Evo.

Its so i know what air filters will fit my car.

I have purchased a HKS (yellow) which i think was from a 5 and i want to fit it too my evo 1.

The problem is i havnt collected the filter yet and the car is in the Garage just now.

Thanks People.

Could be tricky.

I don't know the exact diameters of the intake filter fitments. (I don't think any service manuals will state the dimentions either.) I do know when I've gone to Autobacs for cold air intakes the fitment is as follows.

CD - CE9A (Same)
CN - CP9A (Same)
CT9A - (Same)

I believe the opening on the mass air flow sensor housing is slightly larger on the CN and newer vehicles? So I guess with some clever fabrication you could fit a larger one over provided you make a good seal.

Good luck, it would be interesting to hear back about the final results.

I cant see it being a major issue as long as the MAF housing has a similar shape inlet [i.e round!].
