Newbie Oil Question

Hi

Just bought a 2nd hand Evo 8 MR FQ320 - 2005.

Its had its 9k mile service but I cant find out which oil was used so I can top it up.

Only information I can get from the dealers is that mobil1 Fully Synthetic was used, any ideas?

Mobil 1 fully synthetic should be redily available in most places but if not i would take a trip to the main dealers and im sure they will let you have some.

Thanks

Have spoken to Oilman and been advised certain oils can be mixed.

Was hoping to find out exactly what grade was in there at the moment.

Problem is Kal, hardly anybody gets their car serviced by Mitsi. Best bet is to badger the dealer again. Good luck!! :-)

Probably easier just to change the oil mate, then you know what grade it is full stop.

Oilman always has some good deals on,even though I have free servicing with mine I still buy my oil from him.
