So who's gonna tell me whats broken now.........


Think its the tappets. If so can you get uprated ones for an Evo3[/code]

Yep oil change due.

Will an oil change sort it or will i need to replace the tappets.

nope, if i rev it up the ticking goes away but when it warmed up its not as loud and sometimes no noise at all

An oil change will probably clear that then!

Whatever oil you normally use (some recommend a semi synth but ask about) 8)

Will be the tappets mate. I wouldnt worry about it if i were you. The only thing that shut mine up was some oil improver (Tec 2000) Its like twice as thick as treacle. Now i only get tappety noise occasionally on start up and even then it goes away after 5-10 ticks.

yep should defo go with oil change... i change mine every 1000 miles and use nothing but millers....
