Decatting IV

Yo yo yo yo, my decat pipe arrived yesterday, and im eager to get it on the car. Anyhow, i bought some gaskets from a local motor factor and popped off to Bush to see if they would fit it as i just know ill mess it up and snap a bolt or somthing

In the fitting kit theres a wire, but Bush didnt know what to do with it and neither do i. They wouldnt do it until they knew what to do with the lambda sensor, fair enough. So, after a search on here where the lambda sensor wire goes into the floor of the car, theres a connector which i 'loop' or bridge the terminals with the wire supplied, push it into the floor and use the bung supplied for the hole. Is this correct?? Any running issues to worry about?

well thats even better, i thought it was odd to put the lambda sensor there........now ive got to wait till next saturday unless mrs manix will go for me!

So its definetly ok to not loop the sensor, just leave it? Positive???

I believe your interpertation correct. The straight (no cat) exahust on the car will not really effect it much. It will cause the car to run a little richer than normal and hopefully the terminator kit will turn the heat warning light off in the dash.

Be sure to disconnect the battery when you install, then reconnect after for the ECU. I witnessed some EVOs run rough and experience premature fuel cut on full boost. Gernerally, the booting the ECU fixes it.

Enjoy to sound.
