how do you remove crankshaft pulley

how on earth do you remove crankshaft pully on e1 engine? looked it up on 2g overhaul manual and says use mitsi tool mb995027 wich looks like a puller to me that screws into timing pulley retaing bolt holes, now being a farmer i dont poses any small pullers so put timing belt pulley back on whipped out me hydraulic pullers and set to pulled pulley in half after breaking back lip, so reset on inner half approaching max pull pulley snaps, so with force ive exerted dont think this is correct way to remove it can some please help before i gas the f***** off cheers george

think i need new glasses you undo the end nut first then it comes off easy ops:

You mean you tried to pull it without undoing the retaining bolt!

you undo the end nut first then it comes off easy :muhaha: :kissing:

crankshaft pulley is held on by 4x 12mm bolts!
