Tuning Evo VI advice please what next??

Thinking of more power for my motor but not sure on what the best sensible upgrades would be for that bit more power without too much dollar :muhaha:

Heres my engine mod list:-

Evo vi

Ralliart sports ecu
Blitz dual sbc boost controller set hold 1.5 bar
Forge re-circ dump valve
Blitz nur spec exhaust
Blitz down pipe
Decat
CUSCO 1.3 bar rad cap
Hks irriduim plugs
Oil catch system
Walbro fuel pump
HKS mushroom + HKS RS intake pipe
Helix organic clutch

The car goes well as is and im thinking its around the 350 / 360 bhp mark? but im wondering where to go next to get if possible more into the 380 bhp+ ish? mark if possible without going real expensive forged engine or going onto autronic motec £££ etc

Cams + Gears?
Water/ Methanol injection?
Injectors + fuel pressure reg + more boost?
Manifold (TUBULAR TYPE?)

Ideas and advice + comments mutc appreciated
:P

I'm afraid things do start getting a little pricey now; you are stepping into the area of up rated internals so your car can handle more power .

Imo I would move onto brakes and suspension it's ok going fast but you have to turn and stop :muhaha: .

Best of luck

Matt

Ive got my brakes sorted courtesy of AP six pots + ds2500`s 8) and ive got the tien s tec springs which im happy with (not to harsh ride) :-) so just looking to squeeze a bit more power now from the motor without going the whole bank manager £2000+ forged engine motronic/ autronic route? :???:

like the tuppster has said it could well benefit you if you got yourself a mappable ecu (i aint gonna say which 1 as there are plenty out there so you do the donkey work ok )

maybe a lightened flywheel will free up a few ponies and a little torque for ya

and as you have mentioned a new manifold and turbo elbow wouldnt be a bad mod for a few more ponies mate

good luck with the choices

Cams would definately help, i'm not sold on the mainfolds at your level of tune myself (but i don't know that much about the possible gains over stock to be honest, i do know that some of cheaper ones are actually more restrictive than the OEM part though, so be careful you're not just buying bling). You may well get some gains with a better turbo elbow though.

A fuel pressure regulator may help depending how your cars running with the walbro, it's overfuelling at the moment?

As others have a said, you're really a point where a mappable ECU is really the next obvious step, it'll help with the mods you have and will really improve the delivery of power. It's pricey, but i'd expect to give you more improvement for £ than anything else at the moment.
