I've been ECUTEK'd!!! (thanks WRC tech)

its all pretty good!!

Was like this back in Sept, about a month after I picked it up:

Now since then i've fitted the following:

Nology leads
Iridum plugs
New/Bigger intercooler
Ported manifold
Ported turbo elbow
Full 3" system inc decat from turbo back

So when I got to WRC tech today it was actually pretty good anyway:

Problem was the car was running lean and whilst gaining about 10bhp because of it, it was not a good set up at all!!

Fueling is shown here (for the experts amongst you!!):

WRC tech did their thing tweaked here and there, re gapped my plugs for me as there was a slight misfire and finally we got to this:

Meaning 291BHP @ the wheels and roughly 383bhp @ the flywheel

At one point we did see slightly more with 295.7bhp @ the wheels (rouglhy 389bhp @ the fly), but they backed it off a bit just to be safe.

My turbo elbow, manifold, intercooler even the exhaust were all Ebay buys and the guys said they were doing the job spot on, but the lesson is that if you buy anything such as this get a remap done asap.

As a result of having the map done the power kicks in a lot earlier, its much smoother, the misfire has gone and it just pulls and pulls (now hopefully with less fear of it going bang (fingers crossed!!), even when you start it up it has a bit more "burble" to it!!!

Cheers WRC tech, much appreciated and money well spent!!! :-) :-) :-)

My mate who came along may be up to see you in his Imprezza very soon!!!

P.S Some of the cars in the car park and workshop are out of this world!! THat GT2 was gorgeous!! Oh and liked the soundtrack of the Jordan F1 team testing their car about 20 metres away on the track!!! They hired the whole of Silverstone for 4 whole days, HOW MUCH!!!!!
