A FEW TECHNICAL QUESTIONS FOR FQ300 MODS

just had a good look under the bonnet on my 8 fq 300 and noticed a big diffrence to my 6

i will be modding shortly so just need to clear a few things up

have you got to get a certain type dump valve for the 8 cos the hardpipe setup is a bit dffrent to my other 6?

does the mushroom hks green filter fit straight on to the air filter hardpipe(couldn't see the maff that my 6 had on)? or is it worth keeping the standard air filter with flat green filter?

have you got to get a certain type of cat replacement pipe?

and what are the tyre pressures 235/40/18 18" mo's?

cheers

Hi mate, your dump valve selection is not limited because of your hide pipe kit, i would use a recirc type like the APS one.

Any induction kit as long as its for the VII/VIII/IX will fit your MAF sensor as they come with the adapter plates.
Your hide pipe kit is just replacing the std rubber/metal ones.

Again cat pipe specific to the VII/VIII/IX will fit.

Tyre pressures are front 2.3 bar rear 2.1 bar.

Hope this helps
