Timing belt riddle E3 (HELP)

Yesterday i installed a new timing belt on my E3, but i can't get on the correct timing. it is wrong half a teeth on the cams, the crankshaft and balancer shaft timing are exact OK

The front mark on the exhaust is at the top of the cyinderhead and also the rear mark of the intake is at the top of the cyinderhead. But at the middle were both cam wheels meet the marks should be level. According (W/M) but they are out by half a teeth.
What i also see is some white paint on the exhaust cam wheel, the white paint is on level with the mark on the intake cam.

Is this correct like this or not??? Does anyone have an answer on this riddle??

Half a tooth is nowt to worry about,if you cant get it any better just make double sure you have the right belt. i.e count the teeth on the old one and compare

The length of the belt is the same. But the number of tooth should not be of influence!!?? If it will have more tooth the slack would be bigger. Right????

But have anyone seen the white paint on the exhaust sprocket before?

I rotated the crankshaft, but than the difference remains, but than exhaust is higher??

I should have looked better before I removed it :???:

The way your doing it is correct, both marks should be a near flat line straight across with both 'pins' pointing straight up,i usualy time them so they meet int the middle (marks) but are slightly out at either end,in other words not perfectly straight across, this is down to the belt making people and is no real cause for alarm, turn the engine manualy over a few times if its free you have no worries trust me
