OBD Port

Is the port tucked up behind the steering wheel an OBD compatible port?

Yes it is, OBD II on my VII, could be a straight OBD on a V though.

So would the OBD reader understand things like the AYC?
Is that the same place the MUT-II is used to check the AYC, ECU, etc?

I'm not sure off the top of my head, but i doubt it. The OBC is a standard for various jap cars so i'd imagine it just has standard outputs. I could easilly be wrong though.

When i get a min i'll have a look at the manual and see what outputs are live in the connector.

Looking at the manual it would seem there is an OBC port and separate Diag port for the MUT II.

The AYC and some ECU functions output on connector B-22 with more ECU outputs to connector B-99. I'm not sure which is the OBC port, but from the look of it in manual i'd guess it's B-22, so the OBC may be able to interogate the AYC ECU after all.

Hope that's of some help.

Pretty sure that one port supplied all. The Mut II tool is just a fancy boxed laptop running a software application, now if anybody had the software.......

if someone had the software then wherever they went Jack Daniels would fall from the heavens and petrol coupons would grow where they walked.

Im trying to sort out the what each pin means at the moment. If anyone with the Proper Mitsi software would like to leave a copy hanging around it would be very helpful
