evo 4 RS , how much boost can i run safely?

Alright geezas !

I recently bought a 4 Rs, its got a stock ecu, stock induction piping with modded air box, 3" de cat pipe +full scorpion exhaust and apexi avcr .........it was running about 1 bar before i fitted the apexi.

What boost will she take? my brothers 5 rs runs perfectly on the dyno @ 1.2 bar, but i know the pistons are weaker on the 4s, what do you all think?

Is it worth getting an uprated fuel pump ?

I wont be turning it up untill i am on the dyno just incase anyway.

I run my IV GSR at 1.3 bar. I have the following mods:

Walbro 255 l/hr pump
E6 cams
E6 GSR turbo
Straight induction pipe
HKS Super power flow induction kit
Decatted Blitz Nur Spec with 3" downpipe (had a decatted HKS Superdragger until 4 days ago)
Apexi AVC-R controlling the boost.
Denso Irridium plugs

I had the car on Star Performance's rolling road and got the following figures:

350 bhp fly
236.5 bhp ATW
300 lb ft

The fuelling was a little on the rich side throughout the run.

I think i will get a walbro pump for peace of mind...........thats good power you have there

Hi Trev, I thought it was you from the coop forum. I've never looked back after selling mine. The coop is a good car but its not in the same league as the evo.
