apexi avc-R fitment

Hi folks
I've just ordered an apexi avc-r boost controller, which i am going to fit to my Evo VI gsr when it arrives
I have been searching for info regarding the fitment of it.
Has any of you fitted one before? if so is it imperative you wire it into the ecu? im not too bothered about having all the diffrerent settings that can be programmed into it,i basically just want it to set my boost level!!!
So if anyone has any experience with this unit your input would be appreciated!!!!

Is the unit you have ordered from the UK? If so then it will have all the fitting instructions in the box with the unit.

The unit will need to be wired into your ECU and the pin outs to be used will be stated in the instruction booklet which comes with the unit.

If you have any problems, give me a shout and I'll email a copy over to you. We have been running a group buy on these units over the last two weeks, so have the booklet/instuctions to hand

Frazer if you have adobe reader on your pc you can print it from here honey:

http://www.apexi-usa.com/documentation.asp

On the left hand side click where it says AVC-R wiring manual then print it off.......... easy as that

If you have any problems give me a shout back and i'll email it over to you.

i think you could get away with wiring the power and earth, but not totally sure. to be honest, its only 6 (IIRC) wires that need doing so just do the lot. and make sure you wire the purple (IIRC) wire to the rpm feed and NOT the injector feed.

the wiring of it isnt the problem, its the setting up

Setting up requires a bit of empty road and half a tank of juice
