motor whirring when car switched off.
Hey guys, got a problem with the evo 3
i got dropped off at work in it in the morning and the car was fine. Brother drove it home.
When i got back home later in the evening, the car was parked outside making a whirring sound under the bonnet
right behind the passenger headlight somewhere, i popped the bonnet and had a listen
It sounds like a normal small motor whirring away, even though the car is turned off, i thought it might be the intercooler water spray motor but thats not it.
It has now killed my battery so the sound has stopped.
I have no idea what this could be, checked all fluids and they all fine, not sure what other parts are behind the passenger front wing in the engine bay so dont know what it is.
Any ideas?
Any help will be appreciated guys.
Thanks

I don't have much experience with cars, as you may know. My guess is just look at anything extra you put in the car. Did you check it out when the hood was up? I'm pretty sure you could see a moving part.

I did look under the hood and couldnt see anything moving.
I could feel a slight vibration on 4 or five different little parts arround the passenger side of engine bay
but nothing was actually moving.
I seriously havnt the slightest idea what it is, i havent added anything to the car apart from an Apexi Cone filter.
Im gunna recharge the bettery and then disconnect the live for a short while, see if that cures anything.
I dont even know what the parts are in that side of the engine bay so dont know what to check, the only thing i can think of would be the power steering motor, but that would be whirring if the car was off and steering wheel not turning.
Any other ideas?

After then battery recharge, try to get off all the fuses, one by one, and listen... if the noise stops you can understand where is the problem.
Hope this can help.
p.s. sorry for bad english
