i am plannin on running it on my evo2 engined Satria Gti but need to know if anyone have used such a large a/r b4?

We have a GT2835 on our III and it was on the evo 1 we have previously.

We had to have a flange welded so it would fit as they are slightly different (angle I think)

We do not have any problems with ours, but I would suggest you make sure your fueling is ok and that you are not going to run your fuel pump or injectors close to the max. If so I would suggest upgrading them at the same time.

I have just done a google seach on garrett a/r 84 and came up with this link http://www.aptuning.net/Garrett_Turb...a-fslash-r.htm

Is there a metal plaque on the turbo housing at all?

well, i am getting the internals done by using nissan fairady z pistons(ceramic coated) and vr4 conrods, problem is i still havent decided on the cam setup cos i have a set of 264/272 hks cams and was thinking of using 272's,i am using oversised valves on this too.whts the best setup on cams to push this big mutha turbo?had an article on the mags about the Henstead Evo3 and he was running almost the same setup with 264/272 cams and was pushing 550hp with a gt30.

this is a pic of my current turbo that i'm using:

My GTi used to be using a locked front wheel gearbox but i got so fed up with the wheelspins i dropped my 4wd back in again and its a weapon.i having bout 300+hp on the current engine setup but seriously, the colt will really be a fighter with 4wd and an evo engine on tap.anyways, its friggin illegal to have a 4wd setup on a gti here, authorities luv it,if u get wht i mean[/img]

Ive just sent some programs to Henstead motorsport with launch control
Vr4 rods will have to be machined down as there 1mm wider on the big end
personaly i'd go for 272 if useing hks,ive tried 264 and 272 from hks and a 264/272 combo but i liked 272/272 better when timed up properly
In fairness theres better profiles out there than hks,you would get away with 280's with huge mid to high end power from other manufacturers, comp do an xr range thats quite good but always go for the one up from the first you choose as there 272 is fairly mild and idles very well compared to the hks 272's
