This looks tempting!!

Hi

I was drooling through the 1st edition of Total Evo yesterday & spotted RC Developments advert at the back. Thinking about going for their tuning package that includes Ecutek, MR cams & 10.5 turbo housing for £999 fitted

Now it doesn't seem like a bad deal to me with the Ecutek being £600+. Anybody got any ideas on what kinda power this would give on a E5 that's already got induction kit, boost controller, iridium plugs & 3" catback?

Gonna also go for a Walbro 255 & 3" decat which i'll get myself. Also considering a 3" downpipe :-)

BTW, tried calling RC but where busy

You will need a boost controller if you haven't already got one, along with the fuel pump and probably a controller to go with it.

Is that with vat or plus vat.

RC do have a good name.

It really depends on what you want to get out of your and and how reliable you want it.

I would speak to a few tuners if I was you to see what you could get for that sort of money, before comitting myself to anything.

Hi

thanks for that. I hadn't really planned on going down the cams or 10.5" turbo housing route until i saw their advert I'm sure it includes VAT.

TBH i'm still undecided. Altho I defo want an Ecutek & uprated fuel pump I've got a small insurance payout coming soon which will cover the Ecutek. The rest i'll have to save for. I'll prob be happy with somewhere between 350-400bhp. I'm not wanting to go mad cos i wanna keep reliability.

BTW, i've already got boost controller running 1.2bar in high boost mode. Most of the time tho i use low boost 0.95bar. It's only on the rare occasion that i switch to high, usually when i'm playing with something over 300bhp or bikes
