Uprated downpipe

Are downpipes worth fitting? If so what benefit would I get from having one fitted?

Send a message via MSN to Jabberwocky
IIRC the OEM downpipe is more than good enough to do the job until you get to about 400 bhp

Ok cheers mate - Not planning on running that much power anyway.

Was just wondering if there was any advantage in having one over stock.

uprated one,s are better than standard. as flow the gases much free-a and should give you a couple of bhp.

on most cars they also change the exhauste tone slightly louder.

Downpipes straight off the turbo are better as you get rid of two restrictions in one :-)

Have you got the original exhaust on?

If so just get a full turbo-back system 8)
