Clutch problems mainly on the early ones,the latter ones seem to wear out to a point and not get any worse :???:

No m8 first sign if left unchecked is clutch peddle sticking to the floor and not returning, which by that time is usually to late,it can be checked by using a pry bar on the front pulley to lever out (away) and then push back in towards the engine,your measuring crank endfloat which should if in tolerance be around .2mm,Glimmer man's had around 1.5mm

ok. I though crankwalk was where the crank twisted as aposed to lateral movement in the bearings

I suppose it affects the smothe ness of the engine rotation

Well eventually it stop engine rotation as the crank goes into the block web

what sort of milage does it start to effect it from
