I didnt know evo internals were $hit lol I guess the fact is i dont want to waste money on parts that would only pay dividends upwards of 400... low milage evo internals would be fine for an old car like mine hoping to achive a decent reliable power figure... Im not power searching... Im a better driver than that...

I agree,rods should be binned,but pistons dont tend to wear to bad so dont see why they can't be used again

Im not sure about that... I have a book on american drag tunning and rods tend only to need replacing to forged jobs when your looking to produce 10,000 rpm or more and I have asked a few people and they all agree.

Also low mialage pistons should be ok for what i need... :-)

Rods are usually strong its the bolts that hold them together that aren't
