please can anyone help

just got my decat for my evo1, i have been told by a number of peaple the wires going to the cat to join then and other peeps are saying no dont cut them unscrew the lead and tie it out the way ????? can anyone help being fitted tomos :???: many thanks adam :-)

The wires are no use to you mate.

Ours are cut off,shorted out and taped up. You may have a red light come on the left hand side of your dash it's a box with some heat if its not connected properly.It is not connected to the ecu its just brings the light on.

so join both wires together and fix them to the floor panel

or you can pull it back under the carpet under the passenger seat and join them there or just cut them and take the bulb out :muhaha: .

Yes mate on my IV there was a plug that when disconnected
left two terminals which i then bridged across too each other
and hey presto no light on dash.

Now i have the pipes and the blingy bits just need to save some more
pennies (pounds) for the rebuild so i can give them scoobs a real run for
ther money.

Connect them both together, insulate them and tuck them back up the hole in the chassis and put rubber gromet back in 8) You will feel the difference but keep an eye on your boost. It may creep
