Injectors and tuning!!!!!

Does someone know what size the standard injectors are on a IV??

If so can i put larger ones in without having to mod anything else and is
it easy to do yourself and are the gains worth it???

If you get an uprated fuel pump, from an evo 7, 8 or 9 and and run 560cc injectors it will run, but ideally you could do with an evo 5 or 6 ecu, then you can get it reflashed :-)

Autofixed do reflashes for evo 5 and 6 now I believe too so might be worth givin em a call.

I run 560cc injectors in my evo 2 by the way mate, you just need some from an evo 5 onwards.

The injectors are worth doing at the same time as an ecu.To be honest with you, i wouldnt bother with the ecu change for a standard.By the time you have got hold of an ecu and had it remapped, there wont be a huge difference between that and a stand alone which will give you far better gains and more potential for the future.By thats just me :-)

Thanks lloyd just testing the water as looking for a rebuild soon as she
has done 95000 and is burning some oil but runs fine at mo just seeing
what else i can do now so i have everything for the big day. :-)

The thing is you dont know till you try, and different people have different
opinions on what to do so i would much rather play now rather than after the build.

Because one doesnt want to make a hash of the real thing :-)

Wasnt going to at first as i know standard rods can take a fair bit
but after much dliberation and comments i have heard on here it
probably makes sense.
As once she is solid then the sky is the limit.
Also want to put hks pistons in and h/gasketand balance crankshaft.
Still juggling withtop end as i also dont want her to lumpy.
