Whats Involved In Fitting The Air Intake

Hi guys, not posted for ages but a lot has been going on. EVENTUALLY got the evo back 4 weeks ago after 8 long months, now after battery terminals loose, intercooler pipes blowing off, Leak @ driveshaft oil seal, killing a BOV, Rusty wastegate and 4 new tyres, all is well. Now the modifying bug has hit or maybe its sheer boredom and gonna attempt to fit the air intake I got from Paul16v but I aint sure how to go about relocating the battery where the air filter used to be. Am not keen on fitting the battery in the boot as my electrical skills are shocking.

Please can someone enlighten me.

I moved mine into the boot for the intake, it was surprisingly easy and fired again first time :-)

Have exactly the same predicament :-) I have decided that the best thing to do is to relocate the battery to where the filter is now. But, not with the original battery :muhaha: a very small lightweight racing battery. Will have to make my own bracket but will be worth it.
Here are the details of the battery and below is some pictures of Ian's (thetyrant) with his

Odyssey battery range.

Ideal lightweight dry cell batteries for road/race applications : , 680 Cranking Amps, Sealed Drycell Construction. Length: 6 1/16", Width: 2 15/16", Height: 6 9/16", Weight: 7kg.To give people a rough idea this battery is the same roughly the same size as a pull out car stereo
